Yes, we are currently accepting most major insurance plans. Reach out if you have questions about your specific insurance. We accept Medicaid and Medicare clients, as well. If you do not have insurance or are out-of-network, cash/sliding scale are available.
Depending on which method is your preference! Both are available (some insurances depending, please check with your insurance if Telehealth is covered).
Typically, between 50-55 minutes. Although, session length is flexible depending on circumstances/needs of the client.
Individual therapy and Family therapy is currently being offered. Services will change depending on providers.
About Therapy & The Process
Therapy is objective support, challenging perspectives, learning coping skills, understanding triggers, and exploring patterns. Therapy can be uncomfortable (But that's how you know it is working!).
Yes, within limits. Therapists are mandated reporters and there are limits to confidentiality. This will be discussed further in the initial appointment.
Usually within 2-3 sessions you will know if you are comfortable, trusting and feeling understood by your therapist. Please check in with your provider if feeling otherwise.
Therapists and counselors provide therapy (talk, art, play, family). Psychiatrists provide medication management. Therapists and counselors are unable to prescribe medication.
At this time, no. Referals to Grow Therapy for medication management will be made in session if needed.
Your Practice & Approach
Primarily, we are Cognitive Behavioral Therapists. We also use approaches of DBT, ACT, solution-focused, trauma-informed and supportive therapy. Treatment modalities may also be provider specific.
Depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and ADHD management (not an exclusive list).
Yes, we require at least 24 hour notice for cancellation/reschedules to avoid a no show fee. We understand emergencies happen, so please talk with your provider. The fee insures we value our provider's time and commitment to quality care.
Progress is not linear. There will be days where you feel better and days where you don't. Progress is defined more by achieving individual goals and creating a life worth living.
